Day 1: Into the Wild
Touch down at O R Tambo Airport before 9am, where your adventure begins. Please do not book a flight which arrives later than 9am in order to make it to our camp’s entry gate on time. Please request to arrange accommodation in Johannesburg if arriving the prior to the tour departure.
Hop into our air-conditioned van and for a scenic 7-hour drive to your tented camp, deep in the heart of Kruger National Park. Along the way, we’ll stop to grab road trip snacks, drinks, and any last-minute essentials before diving into the wild.
From the moment we enter the park, consider the game drive officially started— keep your eyes peeled for elephants, giraffes, and maybe even lions before we reach our tented bush camp (shared accommodation).As the sun sets, gather around a crackling boma fire for a traditional South African braai. Then, drift off to the sounds of the wild— lions roaring, hyenas laughing, and the bush coming alive.
Day 2: Sunrise Safari & Bush Vibes
Rise with the sun for an epic 9-hour game drive—early mornings mean the best chance to spot predators in action!
By 3 PM, return to camp for some downtime— relax, freshen up, or visit the on-site bird hide to spot even more wildlife. Another night under the stars, another bushfire dinner filled with local flavours and good vibes.
Day 3: The Ultimate Game Drive Challenge
Another full day of game driving to track down any of the Big 5 or other elusive wildlife we haven’t spotted yet. We explore new areas of Kruger, giving us fresh chances for once-in-a-lifetime sightings.
End the day back at camp, reminiscing about the best sightings over our final bush dinner. Fall asleep one last time to the magic of the African night.
Day 4: The Legendary Panorama Route
Swap the savannah for mountain views as we embark on the breathtaking Panorama Route.
Highlights include:
✔️ Blyde River Canyon – the third-largest canyon in the world, but easily one of the most beautiful!
✔️ The Three Rondavels – iconic rock formations towering over the canyon.
✔️ Lisbon Falls – a stunning waterfall cascading from 94m high.
✔️ Bourke’s Luck Potholes – fascinating rock formations shaped by centuries of rushing water.
✔️ God’s Window – an epic viewpoint offering sweeping views of the Lowveld (on a clear day, you can see all the way to Mozambique!).
By late afternoon, we arrive in the laid-back town of Hazyview, right on the edge of Kruger. Check into our comfortable lodge, then enjoy a restaurant meal or cook up something delicious at our accommodation before a well-earned night’s rest.
Day 5: The Grand Finale – Sunrise Safari
One last chance to chase the Big 5 with a final early-morning game drive in Kruger’s southern region—a whole new part of the park, meaning new wildlife, new landscapes, and new surprises!
We depart the park by 10 AM, saying goodbye to the safari oasis, and head back to O R Tambo International Airport. Please ensure that your departure flight is booked for after 5:30PM (or after 6:30 PM for international flights).
