The home of Vibe Van and Jeffrey's Bay Adventures
A culinary experience crafted by one of Cape Town’s best African chefs. Ivy’s Kitchen specialises in home-cooked meals that stay true to their origins, incorporating bold flavours to traditional cooking methods. This is no doubt the best place to learn African cuisine!
Be guided through a 2-hour cooking class by Ivy, where you will learn to make a full African meal. Such a meal usually includes meat, starch and 3 vegetable sides. You will also get the chance to cook Nelson Mandela’s favourite home-cooked meal – samp and beans – and enjoy it just the way he did! Afterwards, you enjoy the tastes of your own cooking with a glass of wine, while Ivy tells her compelling stories of growing up in love with food in Africa! Receive a unique recipe as a gift from Ivy, to inspire your African culinary journey and to bring some flavour back home with you.
